PAADA Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PAADA LLC collects, uses, stores, and shares information through the PAADA website, mobile application, and related services.
Last Updated: October 18, 2026
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use PAADA, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing or service address.
- Account username, password hash, account role, and registration information.
- Enterprise or company name, business address, and account number.
- Contractor licenses, insurance documents, certifications, permits, and related expiration dates.
- Technician identity, employment, qualification, certification, and assignment information.
- Service-request descriptions, job locations, urgency, status, schedules, and completion information.
- Monitoring agreements, service prices, approval records, appointments, testing and inspection reports when submitted, and next due dates.
- Fire Extinguisher location names, addresses, extinguisher counts, inspection dates, next inspection due dates, notes, and completion records.
- Invoice details, materials, taxes, platform fees, payment status, and payment-provider identifiers.
- Testing, inspection, license and insurance reminder records, including when reminders were sent.
- Device notification tokens and registration records when the mobile notification feature is enabled.
- Photographs, documents, messages, reviews, ratings, and other content submitted by Users.
- Approximate or precise location information when needed to match service requests with contractors or provide platform functions.
- IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, login records, and application activity.
- Terms acceptance date, time, version, account role, and related electronic records.
- Customer-support communications, complaints, and dispute information.
2. Sources of Information
We may obtain information:
- Directly from you when you register, create a profile, upload documents, request service, accept work, or contact PAADA.
- From Enterprises, contractor companies, technicians, customers, and other participating Users.
- Automatically from your browser, device, or use of the platform.
- From Stripe for payment, connected-account and verification-status information, and from technical providers supporting enabled platform functions.
- From mapping services when addresses or coordinates are used for service-area matching or enabled location functions.
License and insurance review is based on documents submitted by Users. PAADA does not routinely authenticate these documents directly with licensing authorities or insurers. An Approved status is an administrative platform status, not a guarantee of current licensing, coverage or qualifications.
2A. Stripe Payments and Contractor Onboarding
Stripe processes Enterprise payments and Contractor connected-account payouts. Payment details are entered through the Stripe payment flow. PAADA stores Stripe customer, saved-payment-method, connected-account and transaction identifiers, payment status and invoice records as needed to coordinate charges, fees, refunds, disputes and payouts. PAADA does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
Contractors complete Stripe-hosted onboarding. Depending on the business, country and enabled payment capabilities, Stripe may require legal names, addresses, dates of birth, ownership information, tax identifiers such as an EIN or Social Security number, identity documents, and bank account details for payouts. These requirements are determined by Stripe for its payment and verification services. Provide this information in the secure Stripe onboarding flow.
PAADA may receive connected-account details and verification or payout-readiness status through Stripe, as permitted by the integration. This policy does not promise that PAADA receives every document or sensitive field submitted to Stripe. Stripe also processes information under its own Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
PAADA may use information to:
- Create, manage, secure, and authenticate accounts.
- Connect service requests with eligible contractors and technicians.
- Display job information to Users who require it to provide or receive services.
- Process account approvals and review submitted licenses and insurance documents.
- Assign technicians and track job progress from request through completion.
- Send account, job, approval, security, invoice, payment and service notifications through available channels.
- Maintain monitoring agreements and testing or inspection dates, including separate dates for individual Fire Extinguisher locations.
- Send due-date reminders approximately 30, 15 and 3 days before recorded next testing or inspection dates.
- Coordinate Stripe payments, connected-account onboarding, invoices, fees, refunds, disputes and payouts.
- Provide customer support and respond to questions, complaints, or disputes.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and threats to platform safety.
- Maintain records of electronic consent and acceptance.
- Improve PAADA’s website, mobile application, services, and User experience.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce PAADA’s Terms and Conditions.
4. How Information Is Shared
PAADA may share information only as reasonably necessary to operate the marketplace, including:
- Sharing relevant service-request and contact information with eligible Contractors evaluating a request, an invited Preferred Contractor, and Contractors that accept or are assigned to the work.
- Sharing relevant monitoring agreements, location details, inspection and testing records, due dates and reminders with the Enterprise, Contractor and assigned Technicians as needed for the service.
- Sharing information needed for payment processing, connected-account onboarding, refunds, disputes and payouts with Stripe.
- Sharing job and customer information with technicians assigned by a contractor.
- Sharing contractor company, license, insurance, profile, rating, and review information with Enterprises and customers.
- Sharing technician information with the contractor company and relevant Enterprise or customer.
- Sharing information with hosting, email, mapping, notification, security, analytics, and technical service providers.
- Sharing information with insurers, attorneys, licensing agencies, courts, law enforcement, or government authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary.
- Sharing information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or transfer of PAADA’s business or assets.
PAADA does not sell personal information. PAADA does not permit Users to use information obtained through the platform for unrelated advertising, harassment, discrimination, or unlawful purposes.
5. License and Insurance Documents
License, insurance, certification, and related documents may contain personal or business information. PAADA uses these documents for account review, compliance, fraud prevention, and marketplace safety.
Document information may be visible to authorized PAADA personnel and, where appropriate, relevant Enterprises, customers, contractors, insurers, or authorities.
Only upload documents relevant to license, insurance and account review. Sensitive identity, tax and payout-bank information requested by Stripe should be provided through the secure Stripe onboarding flow described in Section 2A, rather than attached to a license upload, job description or ordinary support email. Do not include unrelated medical or other sensitive information.
6. Location Information
PAADA may use addresses, ZIP codes, coordinates, and location data to calculate service areas, match jobs with Contractors and display service locations. Property addresses and service-area coordinates are different from live device location. A job status or check-in is a reported work event; it does not by itself establish continuous GPS tracking.
If an enabled feature requires mobile device location, PAADA will provide a feature-specific explanation of what is collected, when collection occurs, the purpose and who can view it, and request device permission where applicable. This general policy does not authorize undisclosed continuous or background tracking. Device permissions may be changed through device settings; disabling location can limit a feature that depends on it.
Contractor companies are responsible for giving their own employees and Technicians any required workplace notices and obtaining any required permissions for location-related features. Contractor responsibilities do not replace PAADA's own obligations under applicable privacy law.
7. Cookies and Technical Information
PAADA may use cookies, authentication tokens, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to keep Users signed in, remember settings, protect accounts, diagnose errors, and understand platform performance.
Disabling required cookies or storage may prevent parts of the platform from functioning correctly.
8. Data Retention
PAADA retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts, complete transactions, maintain service, agreement, inspection, invoice, payment, reminder and acceptance records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, tax, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
Some information may remain in backups or legally required records after an account is closed or a deletion request is submitted.
9. Data Security
PAADA uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting passwords, devices, authenticator access, recovery codes and account credentials and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
10. Privacy Rights and Requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
- Access personal information PAADA maintains about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete certain personal information.
- Receive information about how data is used or disclosed.
- Close your account.
- Withdraw optional permissions or communications.
PAADA may verify your identity before processing a request. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, contracts, legal claims, job records, insurance, or compliance obligations.
Account deletion may be initiated through the account settings or other account-deletion function provided in the PAADA mobile application. Users may also contact support@paada.net for assistance.
Other privacy requests, including requests to access, correct, or delete personal information, may be submitted to support@paada.net. Describe the request and identify the account email, but do not send passwords, authenticator codes, Social Security numbers, financial information, or identity documents through ordinary email. PAADA may use an appropriate verification method before disclosing, correcting, or deleting account information.
PAADA will respond within the deadline required by applicable law. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to PAADA and the request, requests to know, correct or delete personal information generally receive a response within 45 calendar days of receipt. A permitted extension of up to another 45 days requires notice. Other request types or jurisdictions may require different or shorter deadlines. Verification does not automatically restart a statutory response period.
Privacy rights depend on the law applicable to the User and PAADA's activities. The Illinois governing-law provision in the Terms does not remove mandatory privacy rights provided by another applicable jurisdiction. Where applicable, additional rights may include data portability, limits on certain sensitive-data uses, and opt-outs from sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
PAADA will not unlawfully discriminate against a User for exercising an applicable privacy right.
10A. Service and Marketing Communications
PAADA sends operational messages relating to accounts, security, approvals, service requests, appointments, reminders, invoices and payments. Keep your contact details current. Notification delivery is not guaranteed; check your account records and coordinate service directly when needed.
If PAADA sends promotional emails, such as product announcements or offers, each marketing email will include a clear opt-out method and PAADA's valid business mailing address. You may opt out using the method in that email or by contacting support@paada.net. Marketing opt-out requests will be honored within 10 business days or sooner if required by applicable law. Where consent is required, PAADA will obtain it before sending marketing communications.
Opting out of marketing does not stop operational messages needed for account security, ongoing services, invoices or payments. This section does not imply that a marketing-preferences screen or promotional email program is currently available.
11. Children’s Privacy
PAADA is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. PAADA does not knowingly permit children to create accounts or use the platform.
If PAADA learns that personal information was collected from a child, it may delete the information and close the account.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
PAADA may contain links to mapping services, payment providers, government licensing websites, insurers, or other third-party services.
Those services operate under their own privacy policies. PAADA is not responsible for the privacy practices or security of third-party services.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
PAADA may update this Privacy Policy when platform features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated date will be displayed at the top of this page.
When legally required or when changes are material, PAADA may notify Users and request renewed acceptance.
